At ARENA, your Nutrition Coaches work hand-in-hand with you to facilitate the inclusion of healthy eating behaviors and empower you to take responsibility for your own health.
Achieving health & fitness related goals is not a quick fix or a one-time event, but rather a lifelong journey. Your Nutritionist will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to make positive behavior changes that last a lifetime.
One of the most important things your coach can do to help you achieve your goals is to listen and truly understand what your goals are. Oftentimes, trainers and coaches will use their opinion of what your goals should be instead of listening to what your goals actually are. Not at ARENA. Goals will be created together and the path to those goals will be established by both the Trainer/Coach and YOU, the client! That way everyone is on the same page, the path is clear and concise, and communication is open and a healthy form of trust is established.

There are a myriad of nutrition resources online but none of that is tailored to the individual. Many "fad diets" are not giving active people the fuel they need to perform at their best and get the most out of their workouts. A solid nutrition program will take your workout regimen into consideration; everyone is different, with their own unique metabolism, environmental factors, goals, abilities, and schedules. Most people who go on extreme fad diets gain all the weight back plus a few more pounds. This yo-yo or roller coaster dieting is also proven to be extremely unhealthy. It is proven to increase the risk of metabolic syndrome, diabetes, heart disease and a variety of other unwanted medical conditions. Your Nutrition Coach will assist you in finding the path that is right for YOU.
According to the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), weight loss is generally 75% diet and 25% exercise. An analysis of more than 700 weight loss studies found that people see the biggest short-term results when they eat smart.
A Nutrition Coach can be very helpful when it comes to mapping out appropriate goals and addressing assumptions, especially regarding timelines. Many people struggle with setting obtainable goals. They are usually trying to do too much too soon, and they have unrealistic expectations of how fast, sustainable physical changes happen. Working with a Nutrition Coach will provide guidance and accountability.
We can help you understand where you are and how to get to where you want to be!
